山河破碎20载 —— 希望之声：摩苏尔废墟上的乐队

麦哈迈德·马赫穆德是一位摩苏尔的音乐家，他在2003年美军发动伊拉克战争后因社会动荡失去了演奏的机会。如今麦哈迈德不仅在摩苏尔老城恢复了交响乐团，很多人甚至从几十公里外的其他城市来这里学习音乐。 

Mohammed Mahmood is a Mosul-based musician. Amid the turmoil following the U.S. invasion of Iraq in 2003, he was robbed of the chance to perform. Today, though, Mohammed and his orchestra hold regular rehearsals amid the rubble of the Old town of Mosul. People come from cities many kilometers away to play with and learn from him.
